01Introduction
Pet Medicine Reminder ("the App", "we", "us") helps you track your pets' medicines and schedules. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and what rights you have. The App is published under bundle identifier com.lovepetmedicinetracker.app.
02Data We Collect
Account data: name and email address, collected when you create an account or sign in. Authentication is handled by our backend provider, Supabase (email/password), or by Sign in with Apple, in which case Apple may share your name and a private relay or real email address with us, depending on your choice at sign-in. Pet and health data: pet profiles, medicines, dosages, schedules, and notes that you enter in the App. Photos: pictures you choose to attach to a pet profile or a prescription, taken with the device camera or selected from your photo library. Notifications: local reminders scheduled on your device for medicine doses. These are generated and delivered entirely on-device. We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or any tracking data, and we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
03How We Use Data
Account data (name, email) is used solely to authenticate you, secure your account, and send you transactional account emails (sign-up confirmation codes, password reset codes) via our email provider (Supabase's mailer). Pet and health data you enter is used only to power the App's own features: reminders, schedules, and record-keeping for your pets. Photos you attach are used only for display within the App on the relevant pet or prescription record. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data for tracking across apps or websites.
04Data Storage
Account data (name, email, authentication credentials) is stored and processed by Supabase, our backend authentication provider, on secure servers. Pet and health data (pet profiles, medicines, schedules, notes) and photos are stored only locally on your device, in an on-device SQLite database and the device's local file storage. This data is never uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and it is not synced across devices. Because pet and health data lives only on your device, uninstalling the App or erasing your device will permanently delete that data.
05Your Rights
Access: you can view all data you have entered at any time within the App. Correction: you can edit or update pet, medicine, and account details directly in the App. Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and associated account data in-app at any time (Settings → Delete Account), which triggers our backend deletion process (a Supabase Edge Function) to remove your account data from our servers. Deleting the App from your device also removes all locally stored pet and health data. To request access to or deletion of your data outside the App, or for any other privacy question, contact us using the details in the Contact section below.
06Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
07Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
